Sam Mason is Samason Design. Working with digital media is a passion for me. It allows me to explore creative and artistic possibilities while also using my abilities to organize information effectively and to work with the more technical aspects of web development.

Designing web sites has been a constant learning experience for the past six years. I am always looking to push my abilities on every project. More recently, I have picked up the video camera and developed a strong interest in filmmaking. I absolutely love being part of the filmmaking process in any form, as a writer, director, actor, or editor. This new skill has complemented my website design skill set and has given me a broader perspective on the possibilities for web development in the future.

I am a graduate of Stratford Central Secondary School. As a representative of Central, I competed twice in the Ontario Technological Skills competition in the field of website design. In my first year, I placed second at a regional competition and fourth at the provincials. The following year I won the regional competition and placed seventh at provincials. In September 2009, I began studies at University of Waterloo in Software Engineering.

Aside from web design and filmmaking, I am also very passionate about music. I enjoy listening to and writing music in a wide variety of genres, and am planning to produce demos for some of my current projects in the near future. My other interests include basketball, hockey, skiing, acting (both on-stage and on-camera), and spending time with friends and family.
