As a grade 12 high school student, I envisioned the concept of RamCast, a weekly online newscast for the students of Stratford Central Secondary School, utilizing online video as a platform to create interest in school events. The project was very successful, not only capturing the students' interest, but also drawing weekly viewership from teachers, parents, and neighbouring schools. In my two years as director, I led the RamCast team in the creation of 71 episodes, garnered tens of thousands of hits on YouTube, and even directed guest stars such as CBC's Peter Mansbridge and George Stromboupolous.
